Popular Items at Tubbees

Tubbees has carved out a unique space in the dessert scene, acting as both a creative “Dessert Lab” and an eclectic tuck shop. Known for pushing the boundaries of sweet treats, their menu is a playground for anyone looking for indulgent, Instagrammable, and high-energy desserts.

  • The Pistachio Loaded range—including waffles, crepes, and pancakes—is a widely chosen signature, loved for the combination of pistachio kunafa, milk chocolate sauce, and high-quality toppings
  • Oreo Sundaes remain a top pick for those who want a classic, reliable indulgence featuring layers of cookies and cream ice cream
  • The Kinder Flurry Tray is a fan-favorite, providing a generous serving of soft-serve ice cream packed with Kinder pieces and signature sauces
  • Many customers flock to the Tubbees Slushee selection, which is famously vast, offering dozens of unique flavors that are hard to find elsewhere

Budget-Friendly Choices at Tubbees

Even with such extravagant dessert options, Tubbees offers several ways to get your sugar fix without overspending. The best strategy is to look for their bundled promotions or smaller grab-and-go treats which offer the same quality at a smaller price point.

PromotionsBundled treats for better valueCake Jars (2 for £13)
Light bitesPerfect portioned bakery itemsCaramel Shortcake Slice
Saver dealsMulti-buy drink/snack optionsImported Cans (2 for £4)

  • Utilizing the Dessert and Slush promotion is arguably the best way to get a full, satisfying combo meal for a flat price
  • Selecting a single Cake Jar or Cake Slice allows you to sample the high-end bakery quality without committing to a larger, more expensive waffle or crepe
  • Checking the “Pick N Mix” or “Imported Sweets” sections can provide a lower-cost treat that lasts longer than a single-serve hot dessert

What to Order at Tubbees Based on Your Needs

Because the menu is incredibly broad, categorizing your order by the “vibe” of your dessert helps make the choice much easier. Whether you want something hot, cold, or packed for later, there is a clear path.

  • For solo cravings: A Cookie Dough serving or a Kinder Deep Dish Cookie Pie offers a warm, personal-sized portion of comfort
  • For chocolate lovers: The Warm Matilda Cake is a decadent slab of fudge cake covered in melted dark, milk, and white chocolate
  • For sharing: The Dipped Strawberry Sharebox is the perfect centerpiece for groups, offering fresh, high-quality fruit combined with premium sauces
  • For budget-conscious users: Sticking to the Flurry Trays or Loaded Doughnuts provides a massive volume of dessert for the price
  • For quick takeaway: Cake Jars and Cronuts are designed to be mobile, making them easy to grab and enjoy on the move
  • If you prefer a nuttier, richer flavor, the Pistachio Sundae is a unique, premium choice that stands out from standard options
  • If you are looking for a lighter option, consider a Fresh Fruit Shake or a simple portion of Churros with a light dusting of sugar

What to Know Before Ordering from Tubbees

Tubbees is far more than just a standard dessert parlor; it is an experience that thrives on novelty. When ordering, remember that they specialize in “loaded” items, which are inherently rich and filling.

  • Portion sizes are often very large, especially for the “Loaded” range and the “Flurry Trays,” so these are best shared or saved for later
  • The “Dessert Lab” element means they frequently introduce new, viral items; keep an eye out for “New” tags on their menu for the latest creations
  • Availability of specific imported goods can fluctuate, so don’t be afraid to try a new mystery box if you’re feeling adventurous
  • If you are ordering for delivery, consider that hot desserts like waffles or crepes are best consumed immediately upon arrival to maintain their texture
  • Always check the “Promotions” section first; Tubbees frequently runs deals on jars, cans, and bundles that can significantly reduce your bill

Is Tubbees Halal, Vegan, or Vegetarian Friendly?

While Tubbees is primarily focused on indulgent, dairy-heavy desserts, they do cater to a broad audience.

CategoryAvailability
HalalMany dessert bases are naturally suitable; confirm specific ingredients with the store
VegetarianA vast majority of the menu is vegetarian-friendly
VeganOptions are more limited but evolving; check for dairy-free alternatives if available

Alternatives to Tubbees

If you love the high-energy, novelty dessert scene that Tubbees champions, there are other spots in the UK that offer a similar level of creativity.

  • Creams Cafe is widely recognized for its massive menu of sundaes, waffles, and crepes across the UK
  • Heavenly Desserts is often preferred by those looking for a slightly more refined, “sit-down” artisanal dessert experience
  • Kaspas serves as a popular alternative if you are looking for a reliable, wide-ranging menu of milkshakes and classic hot puddings
