Spinach and Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken Recipe
Chicken
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instruction
- Prepare the chicken breasts by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry. Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff the chicken breasts with the spinach and mozzarella filling. Rub the outside of the chicken with olive oil.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the stuffed chicken in a baking dish, sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
