Homemade Protein Bars Recipe Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1 1/2 cups protein powder (any flavor – see notes)
- 2 cups peanut butter (can substitute with any nut or seed butter)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 cups chocolate chips (optional, for coating)
Instructions
- Line a deep pan with parchment paper. For thicker bars, use an 8×8-inch pan; for thinner bars, use a larger one.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the coconut flour and protein powder. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, melt the peanut butter with maple syrup and stir until smooth.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick dough forms.
- Transfer the mixture to the lined pan and press down firmly to flatten evenly.
- Refrigerate or freeze until the bars are firm.
- Once set, cut into bars. If desired, dip or drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
