Pizza Puffs Recipe Ingredients
GARLIC BUTTER
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
FOR ASSEMBLY
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 8 ounces turkey pepperoni
- Italian seasoning
Instructions
MAKE THE GARLIC BUTTER
- In a small bowl, mix butter with parsley, garlic, parmesan, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Set aside.
ASSEMBLE AND BAKE
- Brush a cupcake tin with the garlic butter in each cup.
- Divide the dough into equal pieces, about the size of a ping pong ball or slightly smaller.
- Place each dough ball into each cupcake, cover tightly, and place in a warm place to proof until double in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Once double in size, punch down the center and press the edges up to form a cup shape.
- Brush the inside of each cup with more garlic butter.
- To each cup, add marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, two pieces of pepperoni, more marinara, one pepperoni, and cover the top with more cheese. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
- Pop in the oven to bake for 15 minutes until golden and bubbly on top.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before enjoying with ranch!
