  • unsalted butter – 3 tablespoons
  • granulated sugar – 3 tablespoons 
  • brown sugar – 2 tablespoons 
  • ground cinnamon – 1 tablespoon 
  • Eggs – 2 large 
  • Milk – 1/4 cup 
  • granulated sugar – 2 tablespoons 
  • ground cinnamon – 2 teaspoons 
  • soft white bread – 8 slices, crusts cut off
  • butter, for saute pan – 3 tablespoons 
  • Maple syrup – for serving

The easy method of French toast dessert roll ups:

Step 1: In a ceramic bowl melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter, with a fork mix in 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar. Add 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and mix until smooth.

Step 2: In a bowl add 2 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk, whisk, and set aside for later.

Step 3: In another bowl add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar with 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, stir, and set aside for later.

Step 4: Remove the crust and roll out each slice to about 1/8 of an inch thickness using a rolling pin. Spread a thin layer of butter mixture on a single slice and roll up tightly. Repeat the process with the remaining bread slices.

Step 5: In a non-stick saute pan, add 3 tablespoons of butter and melt it over medium heat. After Dipping each roll in the egg mixture, please place it in the saute pan. Saute each side for 1-2 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Place the rolls on a plate and sprinkle generously with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. 

Step 6: Serve the rolls hot with maple syrup,
